History

            Blyth s.r.o. has been operating with Personal Protection Equipment on Czech market since 1992. Originally the company was established as a subsidiary company of W.A.Blyth Ltd. with its headquarter settled in an industrial area of South Wales in Swansea with more than 70 years tradition in production and distribution of PPE. Over time Blyth had been becoming more and more independent from W.A.Blyth and recently it has been a completely independent company. Nevertheless, Blyth still keeps a close cooperation with W.A.Blyth recently called Bunzl.

            Originally Blyth began its business in a small office with an operational storeroom in Prague 3 at Zizkov. In a very short time period, the office had to be enlarged and the storeroom had to be shifted into a separate warehouse, which was located at the suburb of Prague.

            In such a working conditions, the company had worked until 1995 and then the whole administrative department was shifted into an old ex-supermarket building in Prague 10-Zahradni Mesto. Such a movement ahead was another step to expand our business and provide a better service for our customers. In 1998 had to be done done an extensive reconstruction of the whole building in Zahradni Mesto. After the whole reconstruction process the building was modernized with a handy showroom and a storeroom. Anyway, the extensive warehouse was still kept separate from its administrative department and was located in Prague 10 – Hostivar.

The whole 10 years, the company was developing its activity in such a work space, increasing the number of its employees, suppliers, subscribers and massively strengthen its economical and financial outcomes. The entire development of the whole increasing business situation led up to move into a new premise where Blyth Praha would further continue in expanding the process even in the future.
